I love this sort of testimonial………
I hope you’ve had a fantastic Christmas and New Year! Can I please book Ava Peattie into the Kickstart workshop on Monday 21st January. She has asked to try out Contemporary to see if she likes it, so she might as well do the whole day. She is really missing her dance classes! She has also mentioned that she might like to join the dance troupe…which I can’t believe because she has always been so anxious about performing at the concerts. It was The Greatest Showman opening number at the Christmas concert that did it..she just said, “I want to be part that next year!”. We will see! Dancing is such a passion of Ava’s and it’s because of the fabulous teachers at Jigsaw. You are all so nurturing and you help to build each child’s confidence. Thank you so much for your kindness and making sure that each child matters. You are all amazing!
Hope you got a good night’s sleep last night, you all certainly deserved it!
I just wanted to say thank you for the Jigsaw Junior concert yesterday, as well as all the preparation and behind the scenes action that goes into making such an event happen.
For such a large event, with so many children (and parents) to keep calm and under control it ran like clockwork. It is was a credit to you, your staff and all the volunteers involved.
Eloise has had such a great time both in her dance classes over the last 6 months and on the stage yesterday. (She ran into our room when she woke up yesterday and asked “is it my dance concert day”).
The preparation could not have been a more perfect and the concert has been a great boost to her confidence and introduction to the stage.
Thank you once again.
I just wanted to pass on a huge congratulations to you and your wonderful team at Jigsaw Dance Studio for another fantastic year of dance and a very successful concert on the weekend.
I’ve made no secret of how amazing I think the work you do is, but I also wanted to specifically acknowledge the rest of your team. 🙂
Seanan had big shoes to fill when Tayla left and she has proven to be completely equipped for the challenge! Seanan has maintained the high standard of teaching we’ve come to expect from Jigsaw Dance, with her talent, enthusiasm and a genuine care and concern for her students. Estelle adores her, I adore her and I get the distinct impression that the other mums and their children feel the same way as we do.
Tash and Alex continue to be as wonderful as they have always been and it has been a real pleasure for me, as a mum, to see Estelle’s relationship with them grow and develop over the last couple of years. Tash and Alex definitely create a warm environment for her to continue to learn and discover her own love of dance.
Finally, I just want to tell you what I know you already know – your mum, Sandra, is absolutely amazing! The way she coordinates what can only be described as a mammoth task is impressive. And she does it all with a smile on her face. She is such a trooper!
Blessings to you and the whole team at Jigsaw Dance. I hope you will all have a great Christmas and a very well-deserved break. See you in 2017!
My daughter had been asking to do ballet since she was 2.5yrs old. Finally I looked up studios in the area and found Jigsaw. My main concern was that my daughter would be shy and hesitate to participate, but that wasn’t a problem from day because she has great dance teachers.
Since starting, I have seen great improvement in lots of areas. She shows great balance, co-ordination, learning new steps and also teachers her brother some of the steps.
My daughter really enjoys the program and I find it very educational. It has taught her different ballet steps/movements and she knows all the correct names and terminology.
My biggest concern before starting my son was that I was worried that the dance class would be too ‘girlie’ for him (it wasn’t). I was looking for a structured movement/music class, similar to Gymberoo that wasn’t too expensive.
Jigsaw offered exactly this and I am pleased with how my son (1.5yrs) can follow simple instructions in a structured class. He’s also become more coordinated with his movements.
I would recommend this program to anyone interested in starting their child in a structured movement class that is very reasonably priced.
I wanted to find a studio with a non-competitive environment, family policies and good pricing as it was the cost that was of concern to me at first. I found this to be very reasonable at Jigsaw.
I have seen improvement with my daughter following instructions, her quality of movement and body awareness.
This is a great studio for anyone with large families, those wanting a happy, non-competitive environment where their children can love learning dance.
Before starting at Jigsaw Dance, I was concerned about how my daughter would cope being separated from me and her ability to follow instructions. I have heard fantastic reviews from other parents, so that is why we came to Jigsaw.
The biggest and BEST achievement I have seen in my daughter is that she is now happy to be left in the care of her teachers.
The teachers and classes are fantastic…fabulously run dance school. I have no hesitation recommending this to others -and have done so!
I had had many recommendations from others to come and try Jigsaw Dance as I wanted a studio that was non-competitve.
I have seen a huge growth in her confidence and my daughter has fallen in love with dancing.
I recommend anyone who is looking for a great dance school to check it out. I tell anyone that ever asks – LOVE JIGSAW!
Hi Jen and Sandra
Thank you so much for putting on such an AMAZING concert on Sunday!! We all enjoyed it so much – especially Annelise (who immediately asked “when is the next concert?”!). The whole thing was so professional and you can see that an enormous amount of work goes into making it all happen and ensuring it all runs smoothly. It was great to see so many smiles on little faces 🙂
Would it be possible for us to bring Jessica (nearly 18 months old) in for one of the Jigsaw Junior trial classes? Maybe on the Wednesday? I had thought she would be too young – until I saw her dancing in the aisles on Sunday! She certainly loves to shake her booty! 🙂
“I was new to the area and after searching around for somewhere for my 2 year old daughter to dance I was recommended Jigsaw by numerous people in the area. I had already visited a few dance schools and I found Miss Jenny to be such a welcoming and personal teacher. Not only had she remembered my name from my enquiring phonecall, she had remembered my daughters too making it a very special experience for her first dance lesson. I also found the school to be such a family orientated, non-pretentious, and affordable school.
My girls have developed such confidence within themselves and on stage through dancing and they have such a great time doing it. The benefits of a school like Jigsaw is that along with learning the basic building blocks of dance they have more importantly developed lifelong friendships. Miss Jenny has created such a family within the dance school. Many of her senior students know my children and they nurture and mentor them throughout the year making my children always feel special. I also really enjoy my Tuesday and Wednesday chats with the dancing Mums while the girls are in class. And we all really look forward to the massive concert at the end of the year
I would recommend Jigsaw to any family who is looking for a dance school with a fun, low pressure environment that provides an array of classes for the children to try. Miss Jenny and all of her teachers are wonderfully loving and caring people who always put the children’s enjoyment as their top priority.”

“I chose jigsaw dance when we moved to the hills area to raise our children 12 years ago, from a strong recommendation by our new neighbours. Their daughter loved attending dance at jigsaw as it was non-competitive and all about fun while learning to dance! We have not looked back over the years watching our 4 girls and son try and enjoy all the styles of dance, as Jigsaw makes it so affordable.
We have watched our girls grow into teenagers with confidence, poise and a healthy body image, loving their dance school so much they line up to volunteer with the tiny tots!
We are constantly recommending jigsaw dance to friends and families we meet through school and other sports, as the Principal Miss Jenny is organised, professional and budget conscious, making sure classes, costumes and dance concerts are affordable.”

“I found out about Jigsaw from a friend. Her daughter was the same age as my own (around 2 ½ in mid-2007) and was attending Jigsaw and thoroughly enjoying the classes. I decided my daughter should try it out and we’ve been with Jigsaw ever since. I now have 3 daughters dancing at Jigsaw, the youngest being just 22 months old and she loves it! There is no pressure to do anything other than attend class. There are no competitions or exams. The mid-year and end of year concert are completely optional, but great for the parents to see what their children have been learning.
The pricing structure has always been fair and kept as low as possible for both classes and costumes. This is another plus. Also, the staff have always been lovely to deal with and a great help.
My girls have developed co-ordination, awareness of their bodies and the way they move, some rhythm….and most importantly confidence. To see them walk out on a stage and perform without being completely intimidated is amazing. They have also made friends and learnt to co-operate and behave in a class environment. Jigsaw Dance, and Miss Jenny, are fantastic. Everyone is very supportive and it’s a very non-competitive environment. For anyone wanting their children to learn dance without pressure I would not hesitate to recommend Jigsaw Dance.

I just wanted to say Thank You for today and looking after Lauren in the ballet class. She really enjoyed herself and we will be coming back next week to enrol and purchase the uniform too(she really wanted to wear the spare one to bed tonight!).
I have been looking for a class for Lauren for a while, and really appreciate how friendly and understanding you are (as well as having a great website and general set up!). It really makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable (coming from a non-dancing type background like me)!
We will see you next week, thanks again.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing job your girls and yourself do with the kids. If only you could have seen how shy and nervous sienna was only a few months ago. She suffered from anxiety and would not leave my side no matter what. The confidence she has now I truly believe has been because of her love of dance and her love of you and your class. We can not thank you enough.
Now Morgan is confident, she has no issues in this department, but her only downfall is she does not recognize how much talent she truly has. I’m just so proud of both of them.
So if you could let me know what times your have available for hip hop for Morgan and singing. And sienna would also like to do singing as well as her ballet.
Again we can thank you enough
(Mother of 3)
Hey Jen and Sandra a big congrats to you both and your teachers for the amazing concert!! You all did so well.
Can I also get you to pass on my thanks to Miss Danielle. The Contemporary dance she did for the girls was absolutely amazing!!!
There were soooo many people commenting on that dance!! It was breath taking!!!
Thanks again, Vanessa, Courtney and Zoe xo
STUDIO USE THANK YOU !
Well we are back from New York and I wanted to update you. Firstly thank you again for allowing Harrison to rehearse in the studio it was a real help for his preparation for The Youth America Grand Prix.
It feels like we have been away for months, back we arrived home yesterday. You may or may not have heard by now…….Harrison was awarded the Junior Grand Prix Award, which is the overall winner of the junior section for all competitors and is for the most outstanding dancer of the junior competition. We have been approached by a number of very big international schools offering him scholarships and he got to perfom his solo in front of some of the biggest names in the ballet world on the stage of the Lincoln centre in New York.
I have attached below a link from a review from Dance Australia for you to read.
